Since 1990, the College has leased space in Framingham for its Health Sciences programs. The new building will house the only Certified Simulation Center in the region for unparalleled education and training in Nursing and Allied Health professions.
鈥淪imulation allows our students鈥 right before they actually go into the hospitals, into the medical facilities鈥 to train in a safe environment.鈥
鈥斺夆塂r. Lynne Davis, MassBay Dean of Health Sciences

MassBay鈥檚 accredited degree and certificate Health Sciences programs produce highly-skilled professionals across many specialties. Graduates transfer to bachelor鈥檚 degree programs or earn certification or licensure as nurses, radiologic technicians, paramedics or Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), surgical technologists, and more. In addition to MassBay鈥檚 current roster of academic programs in Health Sciences, the Center will be home to new programs, including computed tomography, ultrasound technician, and medical assistant, that address the high workforce demand in these fields.
鈥淭he programs being housed in this building lead directly into good paying jobs, mostly in the health care industry.鈥
